How do brain injuries occur?

What are the symptoms of brain injury?
A traumatic injury to the brain can cause a broad spectrum of symptoms. The part of the brain injured will usually dictate what kind of symptoms is experienced. Most often, however, damage to the brain will cause physical limitations, such as paralysis (in severe injury), or in ways that thinking and personality (in more mild injury). A person with mild traumatic brain injury may have difficulty focusing on a task, or have difficulty problem-solving. Statute of Limitations in Brain Injury Cases
The statute of limitations in California for accidental injury claims, including those that cause an injury to the brain, is two years from the date of the accident. (Cal. Code of Civ. Proc. Section 335.1). This means if the claim is not resolved, and a lawsuit is not filed within the two- year period, the claimant and their San Diego brain injury attorney will be forever barred from seeking money damages for personal injuries.
Note that in cases against a public entity (e.g. city, state, school district, etc) have specific claims-filing requirements. Under most circumstances a claim must be filed with the governmental entity within six months of the date of harm. Accordingly, for any cases where such an entity may be a defendant, it is important to consult with an attorney before the six-month period ends
